Birmingham Rep Oral History Project

2013 is the Rep's 100th birthday and the REP100 project was set up to celebrate this centenary with funding from the Heritage Lottery Fund.

Gudrun Limbrick of Memories in Print carried out interviews with people who remembered the Rep as actors, students, directors, stage hands, set designers and audience members. She also trained the Rep's many enthusiastic volunteers in oral history-taking. A fascinating project delving deep into the theatre's rich history and Gudrun is very proud to have been part of it.
